About us
The Colegio Iberoamericano de Implantología Estratégica Corticobasal® (CIDIEC) is an academic institution dedicated to the training, certification and scientific development of dental professionals.
Why CIDIEC exists
Strategic Corticobasal® Implantology solved a problem that conventional implantology left open for decades: what to do for the patient who no longer has sufficient bone. By anchoring in the second and third cortical layers through osseofixation, it makes fixed-prosthesis rehabilitation possible within 72 hours, without grafts or bone augmentation, even in severe atrophy. People who for years heard the same answer — you are not a candidate — now have an alternative.
The technique reached the region. What did not arrive with it was the installed capacity to practice it: the knowledge remained concentrated in very few hands.
That is the origin of CIDIEC. We were not founded to introduce a technique — that has already happened — but to train those who will practice it. A procedure that depends on a handful of operators is not a consolidated discipline. Turning it into an academic body, with structured training, its own scientific output and shared clinical judgment, is what separates an available technique from an established one.
What we do
Training
Congresses, diploma programs, masterclasses and courses with theoretical and hands-on components, aimed at enabling professionals to solve real cases rather than accumulate certificates.
Scientific output
Our own scientific journal, dedicated to documenting cases, protocols and evidence generated in the region.
Dental laboratory
In-house infrastructure that supports professionals in prosthetic execution, closing the loop between what is taught and what is produced.
Professional community
A network of members who share clinical judgment, discuss complex cases and uphold the standard of the technique across Ibero-America.

To train dental professionals capable of solving, with judgment and evidence, the cases that conventional implantology declares unviable.
We do so through structured academic training in Strategic Corticobasal® Implantology, our own scientific output, and the support of a professional community that upholds the standard of the technique across Ibero-America.
